Learn how to help people who use drugs and reduce fatal overdoses in our community!

This training is FREE, open to the public and being held virtually over Teams! Join us over your lunch break to learn all about harm reduction.This 75-minute training teaches audiences how to identify examples of harm reduction, both as it relates to everyday life and illicit drug use. Presenters will discuss current overdose trends in our community and share valuable overdose prevention tips for people who use drugs. Participants will leave understanding how to identify and respond to an opioid overdose using Narcan, and how to use test strips to detect fentanyl and xylazine in street drugs.Please reach out to the facilitator at Melissa.Miller@pima.gov if you have any questions about this training.
