Join an informational workshop to learn about the draft policy direction for the General Plan Update.

You are invited to a virtual community workshop, hosted by the City of San Mateo Community Development Department, to learn about the draft General Plan policy direction that will guide future City decision-making. Community feedback helped develop the draft goals, policies and actions and now the City is seeking community input to understand if they reflect the community’s priorities and whether there are new ideas to consider.Please join us on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 6:30 pm to hear a presentation on initial draft policy direction related to:•	Climate Change and Sustainability•	Parks and Public Services•	Community Design•	Public Health and Safety•	Development, Growth and TransportationThe virtual workshop will include interactive polling. You can also provide your input by completing the online survey available at <a href="https://strivesanmateo.org/participate-online/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://strivesanmateo.org</a>This meeting will be conducted using <a href="https://www.zoom.us/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zoom</a>, an online video/audio conferencing platform. Meeting participants can join by desktop, tablet, or smart phone with Internet connection. The City encourages advanced registration to the workshop to help us plan for the event.
