Flooding is becoming an increasingly common occurrence in towns and villages, however many homeowners and businesses across the Oxfordshire-Cambridgeshire Arc region are unaware of the steps that can be taken to make properties more resilient against future floods.UNVEILING THE FLOODMOBILE!Please join the team from the Ox-Cam PFR Pathfinder Project as it launches the Floodmobile: an interactive demonstration vehicle that is packed with over 50 practical flood resilience measures that reduce the impact a flood can have, as well as information packs and videos showing the measures in use, in real homes and businesses across the country.SPECIAL GUESTWe are delighted to confirm that the Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Rebecca Pow MP will provide an introduction speech at the free event, before a 360-degree virtual tour of the Floodmobile is provided, alongside our PFR advisors, Mary Dhonau OBE and Matt Tandy.
