Event Information
About this event
Chef Asata Reid, Life Chef and founder of Feed the People, is on a mission to make healthy and delicious foods accessible and enjoyable for children of all ages. Your young chef is invited to join her for a live cooking class! Together, or with your supervision, students work alongside Chef Asata to create a nutritious and delicious dish the whole family can enjoy - learning kitchen tips and nutrition facts as you go. Recipes include ingredients that are readily accessible and may already be in your pantry.
Register to reserve your spot today! When we receive your registration we'll send you a calendar invite for the class(es) you join. Each invitation will have the ingredient list and other information pertinent to the day’s lesson. Classes are hosted via Zoom; we'll provide the link in each class invitation.
This class is available for all ages. Students should be supervised - there will be knives and heat required for many of the recipes. Younger students may require direct participation and assistance from parents; please consider your child’s age, abilities, and comfort in the kitchen to determine the safest level of engagement on your part.
