Hello my love! My name is Janisha Howard aka Coco. Welcome to Virtual Community Breastfeeding Circle. After four years of hosting circles, I've learned that the people who are successful at breastfeeding:
- Ask for, and get help early and often (self-determined)
- Get access to professional information and resources by regularly attending & participating in circles
- Have a plan
- Prioritize their needs
Circles provide a safe space to reach these goals.
People who attend group experience:
- More success and satisfaction in their breastfeeding journey
- Support and connection from other parents in their community
- Healthier relationships with themselves, their baby, partner, & family
- Care and support from a professional lactation educator
My goal is to help you reach your idea of sucess and satifaction. You should leave group feeling rejuvenated and confident about the next phase of your journey.
REMEMBER:
🙌🏽 Although the focus is on breastfeeding, community connection is close second. Your presence is welcomed whether you're breastfeeding or not.
💕Any birth workers who want to learn about breastfeeding and are looking for mentorship are welcome as well.
