The UAMS Mindfulness Program is pleased to offer a virtual Basic KORU Mindfulness Course to the public for a modest fee.

Description The UAMS Mindfulness Program is pleased to offer a virtual Basic KORU Mindfulness Course to the public for a modest fee. This course will teach Mindfulness skills to help participants fully experience life moment-to-moment with kindness and without judgment. It will help participants learn to reduce stress and increase self-compassion while finding balance in life. The $120 fee includes the cost for a book and the KORU Mindfulness app, which participants will continue to be able to access after the course is complete.DatesThe class meets weekly at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays from Aug. 3 to Aug. 24.ScholarshipsIf cost is a major barrier to participation, a scholarship policy is available to avoid turning away anyone with a genuine interest. For details, please email UAMSMindfulnessProgram@uams.edu.RefundsParticipants who withdraw 3 days prior to the first class will receive a 50% refund.
