Virtual American Mosaic Summit 2021

The Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to educating, inspiring, and promoting excellence in the mosaic arts.SAMA was founded in 1999 by a small group of mosaic artists who wanted a venue through which they could share their knowledge, expertise, and interest in mosaic art—this most ancient of art forms that was experiencing a significant contemporary revival.Today, twenty-four years later, the organization endures due to the support of passionate members, including mosaic artists at all levels, mosaic aficionados, collectors, materials suppliers, and art educators. Through exhibition, conference, scholarship, community service and publications programs, SAMA’s legacy has been connecting artists with new audiences and collaborative opportunities that strengthen the relevancy of contemporary mosaic art into the 21st Century.
