CUYAHOGA COUNTY DISPATCH PERSONNEL ONLY

The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County is offering virtual Dispatcher Training and will provide updated information to Dispatchers in Cuyahoga County on engaging and communicating with people in crisis.

As part of the ADAMHS Board's initiative to expand Dispatcher training in the county, each department will receive reimbursement in the amount of $75 per dispatcher to help remove financial barriers to training. Upon completion of the training, dispatchers will receive a certificate of attendance.

The training will cover: Overview of the new Cuyahoga County Diversion Center, how to address challenges associated with triaging emergency calls for service, law enforcement response versus a behavioral health response, and community resources available for those in crisis in Cuyahoga County.
