About this event

Did you know that you are the author of your thoughts and that they have a direct impact on everything you do in business? Performing at a high level in business requires a great mindset that is a reflection of your thought habits. In this workshop with Sports Psychologist Dr. Shannon Reece (SEHD '94, '03), you'll discover the six pillars that contribute to a winning mindset for athletes and business elites alike. Learn how to do business for the right reasons, how to clear mental clutter so you can make smart decisions, how to train yourself to bounce back after a disappointment, and more—so you can tap into your “A” game every day.

About the speaker:

Like you, Sports Psychologist Dr. Shannon Reece understands the challenges high performers face both on and off the playing field. The secret is not about working harder — it’s about playing smarter. That boils down to pursuing and maintaining a standard of excellence when it comes to your mindset, because how you think has a direct impact on your success.

At Training for Optimal Performance, Dr. Reece believes that performance is performance no matter what area you play in. The same foundational performance-enhancing strategies and tactics that help athletes perform at their best apply to achieving excellence in business. With a great mindset you can transform your performance from ordinary to extraordinary.

You will receive an email with the Zoom link prior to the event. We ask that participants register by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the event.
