<DIV>Please join us at 9:30AM on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 at the University of Indianapolis in our beautiful Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center for a fun day celebrating all things VIOLA!</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Our day begins at <A TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">9:30AM</A> with free registration in the Lobby of the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center. Students will have the option to purchase a $10 box lunch from Jimmy Johns during registration (cash only) and can also sign up to perform in master classes. We will then meet together in the Recital Hall at 10AM for a Viola Ensemble Rehearsal (all levels of students are welcome!).</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>We will have participatory events throughout the day that will inform and entertain, and in addition to master classes there will be a special open dress rehearsal where students can hear a new solo piece for Viola and Choir performed by Michael Strauss and the Concert Choir @UIndy. Our presenters will include our faculty and students from The University of Indianapolis, and guest faculty from the surrounding metro areas and the Principal Violist of the Indianapolis Symphony, Yu Jin. </DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>We will conclude our activities with a combined Concert at 3PM that will include our Large Viola Ensemble. All parents, family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend this free concert and we hope to see you at VIOLA DAY!</DIV>

<P><SPAN CLASS="s2"></SPAN>9:30 – 10AM - Registration (Lobby of Chrystal DeHaanAuditorium) 1400 E. Hanna, Indianapolis, IN</P>
<P><SPAN> </SPAN>10AM – 11AM - Viola ensemble rehearsal  w/ all participants (Stage of Chrystal Dehaan Auditorium), Viewing of vendor displays.</P>
<P><SPAN> </SPAN>11AM – 12PM - sample lessons w/ UIndy staff and guests (Practice rooms and studios), sign up at registration. Vendor displays continue.</P>
<P><SPAN> </SPAN>12PM – 1PM – Lunch (Box lunch from Jimmy Johns (Lobby of Chrystal DeHaan Auditorium)</P>
<P><SPAN> 12:30</SPAN>PM – 1:00PM – Optional Campus Tour </P>
<P><SPAN> </SPAN>1PM – 2PM – Viola Class, Master class with Yu-Jin, hosted by Michael Strauss</P>
<P>2PM - 3 PM Open Dress rehearsal of ‘For Paris’ Solo Viola and Choir</P>
<P> 3PM – 4PM Viola choir & Faculty/Ensemble performance (Chrystal DeHaan Auditorium) open to all.</P>
<P> Viola Day concludes by 4PM</P>
