About this event

In this workshop you will learn how to use our Cricut vinly cutter to make sticker stencils that can be used for screenprinting! With this method of screenprinting you can make quick and simple designs to make about 15 prints, opposite of Emulsion Screenprinting, which is more ideal for higly detailed prints. Not sure what a Vinyl Screenprinting is? Check out our pinterest board to discover some of the things you can make with it:

Frequently asked questions

How long will this workshop last and what are we doing?

On average this workshop takes an hour to 1.5 hours to teach. We will go over creating a design in Cricut software, applying stickers to screens, printing, cleanup and proper screen care.

Do I have to bring my own materials?

No, we provide everything here for free! In return we ask that you be respectful of other patrons and clean up after yourself. You MUST fully clean the screens immediately after use to preserve the screens for future uses.

Wait! What if I forget something after this workshop?

Don't worry! When attempting to print on your own don't be afraid to ask a staff member for guidance when you get stuck. We are here to help answer any questions, just let us know you've received your authorization but need some assistance.

What if I am not apart of the DePaul community?

Unfortunately, our IRL workshops are only open to DePaul staff, faculty, students, and alumni. This applies to friends + family too, all in attendance must be part of the DePaul community.
