Join IO's Zack Johnson aka Turbo9 as he digs through his vinyl collection and makes a beat from scratch! Learn how to get started recording vinyl, what equipment you'll need, best practices for recording, warping, keying samples, and how to build a song around a sample. About Zack AKA Turbo9Turbo9 makes hip-hop-adjacent electronic music inspired by skate videos, sampling, and turntables. He’s collaborated with Diplo, remixed 9 Theory, and had his music supported on LA's KCRW. His tracks have landed on Amazon and Netflix. He's also made sample packs for LANDR and Tracklib, and serves as Brand Manager at IO Music Academy.
