Definition

ViewFest - noun - A powerful and uplifting Community Event for Mental Health & Wellness that allows individuals and organizations to unite and share their views, stories, experiences & resources – all within a vibrant festival environment.

ViewFest2024 Includes

  • World Record Attempt - Narcan Training - BE PART OF THE SOLUTION
  • A LIFE SAVING training course that educates how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and administer the reversal drug Naloxone
  • Why is the record Important?
  • By empowering the public through Naloxone training, we can stem the tragic tide of opioid overdoses sweeping the nation. Setting a new world record for Naloxone distribution allows us to blaze a trail that others will follow, driving momentum for this critical initiative. Each life saved creates a ripple effect, inspiring more training and distribution until we turn the tide on this epidemic. Together, we can build communities of empowered responders, saving lives one training at a time.
    • Record Breaking Training is expected to begin at 11:15am and run through 11:45am.
      • **Time is subject to change**
      • Additional training times available but are not part of the World Record.
      • You may participate in and / or witness the World Record training. Space will be limited. If unable to participate, individual training will still be offered during other times.
