A Celebratory Dance Party Benefitting MSK Young Adult Cancer Research
“When I was diagnosed with cancer shortly after turning 45, it was an insane shock. But music was one of the main things that got me through treatment. While I was in the chair getting chemo, I would daydream about DJing a dance party. There’s something so cathartic about moving our bodies together. And I promised myself that if I made it, we’d throw a killer party and dance our asses off for a good cause. Now, more than five months after finishing chemo, I’m cancer free and ready to make that dream a reality.” -- Bo Bishop
