💡 Have you ever had an idea for a custom app or web tool, but lacked the formal programming background to build it? Are you a business owner looking to quickly prototype software without hiring a dev team? Are you a non-technical professional eager to leverage autonomous AI agents to automate daily workflows? Or perhaps you are an engineer who wants to radically accelerate development by prompting instead of typing boilerplate?
Then consider joining us for the Vibe Coding Workshop Series.
This three-part, hands-on series equips participants to transform natural language into functional software through "vibe coding"—guiding AI tools to generate, iterate, and improve code. The curriculum follows a clear progression: starting with browser-based low-code platforms and AI agents, stepping into cloud development environments with controlled code customization, and culminating in fully local setups with open-source tools and LLM architectures.
This course has no prerequisites. Bring your own laptop to participate. We will begin with the basics and build upon this knowledge at each workshop.
-----
➡️ Workshop 3: Owning Your Code
In Workshop 1, we explored how natural-language prompts can turn an idea into a working prototype. Workshop 2 took the next step, where we transitioned from browser-based AI builders into a real cloud development environment, using GitHub Codespaces and GitHub Copilot to collaboratively build and modify software.
The final workshop, Owning Your Code, bridges the gap to total software ownership by moving development into a fully custom local environment. Participants will learn how to configure open-source coding tools, connect to leading LLM providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or local models, and design sustainable software architectures. The session also covers how to manage model costs, protect data privacy, and structure maintainable AI-built applications.
The goal is simple: move into a local environment and design software you can sustain, scale, and trust.
-----
🔑 What You’ll Learn:
- A practical pathway from prompt to product ownership, setting up local development environments and open-source vibe coding tools.
- A stronger understanding of tool, model, and environment choices to evaluate LLM providers based on speed, cost, precision, and privacy constraints.
- A foundation for building AI-enabled applications responsibly by applying core software architecture principles to create scalable, maintainable applications.
👉 Designed for professionals, entrepreneurs, students, educators, creators, and technical teams who want to move beyond basic vibe coding and gain greater control over what they build.
-----
🧠 Why It Matters:
AI can generate code incredibly quickly.
But speed without understanding can become a liability.
As AI increasingly handles the mechanics of software development, the differentiator becomes your ability to understand what was built, determine whether it works as intended, and guide the technology toward the right outcome.
This workshop helps bridge that gap.
You’ll begin developing the skills to:
- Move beyond one-click app generation
- Understand the basic structure behind AI-built software
- Make targeted changes without rebuilding from scratch
- Collaborate more effectively with AI coding agents
- Retain greater creator control over your applications
The goal isn’t to replace developers. It’s to make more people capable of participating intelligently in the development process.

💻 What to Bring:
Your laptop. This is a fully immersive workshop, not a lecture. You'll practice and apply everything in real time.
-----
🎓 Certification Opportunity:
