💡 Have you ever had an idea for a custom app or web tool, but lacked the formal programming background to build it? Are you a business owner looking to quickly prototype software without hiring a dev team? Are you a non-technical professional eager to leverage autonomous AI agents to automate daily workflows? Or perhaps you are an engineer who wants to radically accelerate development by prompting instead of typing boilerplate?

Then consider joining us for the Vibe Coding Workshop Series.

This three-part, hands-on series equips participants with the skills to transform natural language into functional software through "vibe coding"—guiding AI tools to generate, iterate, and improve code. The curriculum follows a clear progression: starting with browser-based low-code platforms and AI agents, stepping into cloud development environments with controlled code customization, and culminating in fully local setups with open-source tools and LLM architectures.

There are no prerequisites for this course. Bring your own laptop to participate. We will begin with the basics and build upon this knowledge at each workshop.

From AI-generated apps to software you can actually understand and shape.

You’ve prompted AI to build something. Now it’s time to go one level deeper.

Collaborative Cloud Coding is Workshop 2 of the Vibe Coding Essentials series—designed to move participants from zero-code delegation toward active, AI-assisted software development.

Using GitHub Codespaces and GitHub Copilot, you’ll learn how to work alongside an AI coding assistant while gaining enough code literacy to understand what it creates, make targeted changes, troubleshoot problems, and take greater control of the finished product.

You don’t need to become a software engineer.

You do need to know how to guide the AI, inspect its work, and shape the outcome.

➡️ Workshop 2: Collaborative Cloud Coding

In Workshop 1, we explored how natural-language prompts can turn an idea into a working prototype. Workshop 2 takes the next step.

Participants will transition from browser-based AI builders into a real cloud development environment, using GitHub Codespaces and GitHub Copilot to collaboratively build and modify software.

You’ll begin developing foundational code literacy—learning how projects are structured, how to navigate AI-generated code, and how to make deliberate changes without having to write everything from scratch.

The goal is simple: move from accepting what AI gives you to actively directing what it builds.

-----

🔑 What You’ll Learn:

  • Set up a cloud development environment using GitHub Codespaces and GitHub Copilot
  • Read and navigate basic code structures without needing a traditional programming background
  • Evaluate and modify AI-generated code with greater confidence
  • Direct AI pair-programmers to build customized features beyond standard templates
  • Develop the practical literacy needed to troubleshoot, refine, and improve AI-built applications

👉 Designed for professionals, entrepreneurs, students, educators, creators, and technical teams who want to move beyond basic vibe coding and gain greater control over what they build.

-----

🧠 Why It Matters:

AI can generate code incredibly quickly.

But speed without understanding can become a liability.

As AI increasingly handles the mechanics of software development, the differentiator becomes your ability to understand what was built, determine whether it works as intended, and guide the technology toward the right outcome.

This workshop helps bridge that gap.

You’ll begin developing the skills to:

  • Move beyond one-click app generation
  • Understand the basic structure behind AI-built software
  • Make targeted changes without rebuilding from scratch
  • Collaborate more effectively with AI coding agents
  • Retain greater creator control over your applications

The goal isn’t to replace developers. It’s to make more people capable of participating intelligently in the development process.

💻 What to Bring:

Your laptop. This is a fully immersive workshop, not a lecture. You'll practice and apply everything in real time.

-----

🎓 Certification Opportunity:

Attend all three workshops in the series and receive a Certificate of Completion from Skinny R&D, a powerful addition to your resume or LinkedIn profile.
