Registration Requirements:

  1. MUST be Active Duty, Trainsitioning Veteran, Separated Veteran, or Spouse of one of these

  4. MUST commit to attending the Orientation and all daily sessions. Orientation will be held the week prior to the course beginning. This Orientation will be at 9AM Pacific. Details will be shared upon acceptance into the course.

Students that do not attend the Orientation will not be allowed to attend the course unless arrangements are made through the Education Director or Education Coordinator.

Priority seating for the course will be for unemployed students. If remaining slots are available, seats will be assigned accordingly.

Format: The Course will be a live instructor-led hands-on course which would help you prepare for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate(SAA-C03).


Duration: The total duration of the course is 40 hours split into 5 consecutive weeks i.e 4 days each week. Each lecture will be 2 hours long and will be held online on Zoom meetings.


Timing: 5 PM to 7 PM Pacific Time


Prerequisites:

  • Should have completed either the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification OR previously have taken the AWS CCP course with VetsinTech.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts.
  • Working knowledge of distributed systems(optional).


Hands on Lab: Enrolled students need to create their own AWS Free Tier account to perform all the hands-on portions of the course(s) with their own funding method. Guidelines to create the Free-Tier account will be provided by the instructors. Lab instructions will be shared on the Canvas platform


Quizzes: Quizzes will be administered at the end of various modules to solidify student’s comprehension of the material.


Engagement is a crucial part of the learning process, hence attendance in LIVE class is mandatory. However, in the event a student cannot attend, the lecture will be recorded, and a link will be provided on a case-by-case basis. Excuses are limited to not more than 2 classes with prior information.

This is an exam conducted by AWS, the details of which are as follows:

  • Length: 130 minutes to complete the exam
  • Cost: 150 USD

  • Delivery method: Pearson VUE testing center or online proctored exam.

  • Experience in AWS technology.
