Overview:
Vets in AI is a new program from VetsinTech that creates pathways for veterans into the rapidly evolving AI sector, offering opportunities in education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Integrating veterans into the AI ecosystem is a matter of national security. Veterans possess unique skills and attributes the AI sector needs. Veterans bring a deep understanding of security protocols and trustworthiness, problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and teamwork make them highly valuable to the AI industry. This initiative bridges the technological hub of The Bay Area with the policy-making centers in Washington DC, fostering a unique collaboration between tech innovators, military, and policy. Vets in AI Launch Event - 5/16 @ Microsoft - Rosslyn
The event will bring together leaders in AI, corporate security, policy and impact, and military defense. Join us to connect with these leaders and learn more about the Vets in AI Program, which includes:
- Curriculum: AI Training for Veterans via Google and Microsoft
- Thought Leadership: Quarterly Convening of corporations to discuss new developments and opportunities at the intersection of AI, defense, and policy
- Startups: VC pitch events and programming for veteran AI entrepreneurs
- Hors D'oeuvre and drinks will be served
