Veterans Day Program

MSU Student Veterans of America

The Michigan State University Student Veterans of America, in collaboration with ASMSU, The MSU Veterans Outreach Group and the Veterans Day Planning Committee invite you to attend a campus event in honor of Veterans Day. Join us at the MSU Student Union in the Ballroom/Sunporch for a brunch event to recognize the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
Students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to attend. Registration is required and seating is limited. Check in begins at 11 a.m. The program welcome will begin at 11:25 a.m followed by brunch. The Panel of speakers for the program will start proptly at 12:15 p.m.
Brunch will be a buffet selection.
We will also have representatives from community partners with information on veteran resources and how to get involved with their organizations.
Limited parking is available in the Grand River Parking Ramp and additional parking will be available in East Lansing, for maps and information on parking locations and fees please refer to the link provided: https://www.cityofeastlansing.com/ParkingDowntown/
 
Operation Gratitude with MSU Students for Troops:
We are requesting that if you are attending the Program or any of the Lunch and Learn presentations, that you please bring an item to donate or a small donation if you can! All donations will go towards sending care packages to Active Military, Military Famililies, Veterans and First Responders!
Please donate one of the items listed below or a cash donation if you can:
-Socks.
-Unused Greeting cards/stationary  
-Batteries(AA or AAA, 4 pack or fewer).
-Mini Flashlights
-Beanie Babies/Webkinz/Trolls or small plush toys
 -Gum/Mints/Breath strips.
-Knit hats/Scarves 
-Cool Ties  
-Paracord Survival Bracelets.
-Video Games.
-Flash drives.
-Earbuds.
-Used Cell phones
-Gift cards to Walmart/Target/Walgreens/VISA/MasterCard/American Express.
-Lip balm/Chapstick
-Toothpaste.
-Deodorant(solid, 32oz or less).
-Disposable razors(pack of 5 or fewer).
-Non-aerosol shaving gel in tubes.
-Individual packets of moist towelettes(30 wipes or fewer)
-Hand/Foot warmers(travel size)
-Cotton swabs (pack of 50 or fewer).
-facial tissue(travel size)  
-Mini sewing kits
