Join us on Wednesday, October 30 for the Veteran Leaders Innovation Conference. Irvine Valley College’s Veteran Services program is hosting the event, which will focus on mental health and well-being for our service men and women as they acclimate back to civilian life. Also includes current Department of Defense (DOD) changes and required data collection for new funding.

- Speakers from the DOD presenting on topics such as educational acclimation post war, military credits for health care and DOD approvals
- Data Collection for the Improvement of Veteran Services: Requirements for New Funding
- Mental Health Services Provided by Community College Veteran Resource Centers: How to improve and Implement
Featured talks take place from 3:15 pm to 4:00 pm.
Colleges should bring a team consisting of administrators, certifying officials, counselors and team members who work directly with veterans while outside entities should bring all who work with veterans on a daily basis.

Attendees will receive a computer bag, binder with templates and tool kit, data samples and mental health sources for each county.
