<p>Join us for a hackathon dedicated to redesigning women's safety gloves for the construction industry. Over the course of five hours, we will collaborate to identify issues related to glove fit, brainstorm design solutions, pitch concepts, create prototypes, and share our findings. This is a unique opportunity to enhance safety culture, drive innovation, and reduce gender-based hazards in the construction sector.</p>

Investigate the issue by reviewing hand and finger injury statistics, understanding safety standards, examining existing glove designs, and completing dexterity challenges.

Understand the Problem

Brainstorm and sketch innovative ideas while considering factors such as protection priorities, user groups, market pricing, manufacturing processes, and technology integration.

Design

Present concepts in a lightning pitch format that focuses on the problem at hand, identifies the audience, and proposes solutions.

Lunch

Utilize a variety of tools and materials to transform ideas into prototypes.

Craft

Share each team's solutions and discuss the next steps to refine and implement their glove designs.
