About this event

  • 1 hour

The Shenandoah Valley is one of the most prominent American Viticultural Areas in Virginia. Because it is driven widely by grape growers and farmers, these grapes often end up in blends made by wineries in Monticello, Charlottesville, and Northern Virginia. But there is a reason these grapes are so sought after by the winemakers to the south! Let's look closer at the region and taste wines made entirely of grapes grown in the Shenandoah Valley to see what this rugged region has to offer!

Join us for a casual seated wine class where we will talk about the terroir and community of grape growers in the Shenandoah Valley at Vermilion.

Included with your ticket:

  • Seated wine class with certified sommelier and Neighborhood Restaurant Group Wine Director, Erin Dudley CSW
  • Tasting of six fine orange wines from the Shenandoah Valley
  • Small serving of artisanal cheese and accoutrement to accompany your tasting
