Join experts from Filbert Street Garden at the Library to level up your gardening with the unexpected: worms!

Vermicomposting, or worm composting, turns kitchen scraps and other organic waste into a rich, dark soil that is a major source of nutrients for plants. Join <a href="https://filbertstreetgarden.org/" title="https://filbertstreetgarden.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Filbert Street Garden</a> at the Enoch Pratt Free Library to learn everything you need to know about starting and maintaining your own worm bin and see an established bin in action. When done correctly, this form of composting does not smell and is very apartment friendly, making it a great way to sustainably level-up your gardening while space is limited.This program is part of a summerlong series presented by <a href="https://filbertstreetgarden.org/" title="https://filbertstreetgarden.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Filbert Street Garden</a> and Enoch Pratt Free Library.Space is limited and registration is required. <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/817286484877?aff=oddtdtcreator" title="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/817286484877?aff=oddtdtcreator" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Another session</a> will also be held on site at Filbert Street Garden on June 29.
