What beer will I get to try?

If you are VIP or GA ticket holder, you’ll get to sample from Celestial offerings as well as all of our Domestic brewery partners.

Question 3

I see International Breweries on the event poster, will they have their beer there?

Accepted Answer

Celestial will have a few international brewery beer collaborations available, but for Venus Fest, they will be there in spirit through their artwork as Zephyr Art Partners.

Question 4

What is the Zephyr Art Auction?

Accepted Answer

Exhibition showcasing artists from breweries all around the world raising money for our charity, Tracy’s Kids. All ticket holders will have the opportunity to view and bid on the artwork throughout Venus Fest. There will be bidding sheets posted to keep track of your favorites until 7pm.

What does Tracy’s Kids do?

Tracy’s Kids uses Art Therapy to help young cancer patients and their families cope with the emotional stress imposed by the disease and its treatment. Their free work ranges from individual art therapy sessions with inpatients, to open studio sessions with outpatients, and more.

When do I pick up my art?

Accepted Answer

We will have the art available for pick up and purchase starting at 7:30pm. If needed, we can hold onto the pieces in the Celestial Taproom for 1 week following the event, unless otherwise discussed. Reach out to Sara with questions at sara@celestialbeerworks.com

Question 7

What will I experience with my Audio/Visual Ticket?

Accepted Answer

Although this ticket does not include beer, all A/V ticket holders will experience the sights and sounds of the event, including the Zephyr Art Auction, light shows, live painting, live music,  and will have access to coffee, sponsored by LDU, food trucks and flash tattooing.

What will I experience with my General Admission Ticket?

Accepted Answer

Everything included in the Audio Visual ticket, as well as complimentary tastes from Celestial Beerworks, specialty Venus Fest collaborations, and all domestic brewery partners, as well as keep the festival fanny pack!

Question 9

What will I experience with my VIP ticket?

Accepted Answer

Everything included in the GA ticket, as well as early access to the festival (3pm entry) with a complimentary made-to-order LDU coffee bar, a private area with restrooms and seating, and access to our Local Splash, which is beer from our local brewery partners.

Question 10

How do I get a Venus Fest Tattoo?

Flash tattoos designed by Celestial artist, Molly Reynolds, will be shared in advance and guests are welcome to sign up for a slot throughout the festival from our local tattoo Artists: Hector Carmolinga @hector_carmolinga, Stacy @ahumanplant, and Kris Wright @cactuskillerr

Is Venus Fest kid and pet friendly?

We love your kids! But, for their safety, this event is 21+, and with the exception of service animals, we ask that the furry, scaly, multi-headed companions stay at home.

Will the Celestial Taproom be open during Venus Fest?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The taproom will be open for pre-gaming starting at 12pm, and will close at 8pm.

Question 13

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

In true Celestial fashion, we love a costume party, but wear what your heart desires! If you want to dress on theme, Venus Fest screams Greek, mythological, under-the-sea, and ethereal. You might find one of us dressed as a fish, where someone else will be wearing a toga. Let your creativity shine!

Where do I park?

We encourage ridesharing or carpooling with your Audio/Visual DD, but there is street parking available, as well as a small free lot on the side of our building, and a paid lot across the street. 
Also, feel free to park at the DART lot across from the Celestial Taproom and walk! Earn your beer!

Question 15

Will there be food?

Accepted Answer

We will have 3 food trucks available the entirety of the event: Picadera Dominican Street Food, My Pies Pizzeria and Hedary’s Mediterranean.
