The most luscious vegan cheesecake competition arrives at V Spot Organic on November 6th! Ticket-holders will try all NINE cheesecakes and enjoy organic wines from <A HREF="http://www.lobetia.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Lobetia</A>.

The competition includes vegan cheesecake from chefs all over the New York metro area. 
Official event judges:
Toby Buggiani Toby Buggiani, born in in Rome to a Tuscan father and American mother, spent his early years in Italy. After moving to New York, he returned yearly to Italy learning Italian cooking from family and friends alike. He became a vegetarian in the early 1990’s with his love of New York Hardcore music and he opened <A HREF="http://adelinasbk.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Adelina’s</A> after spending years managing Caffe Reggio, the oldest Italian Cafe in New York. The vegetable focused menu at Adelina’s is almost completely vegan or vegetarian and hosts many vegan events throughout the year. 
 David Silver David Silver graduated from the Johnson &amp; Wales Culinary/ Business program, and then worked in Europe at Michelin-rated temples of gastronomy. Back in the USA he served as an executive chef and restaurant consultant. Next he became chef/proprietor of Second Helpings Café in Park Slope, Brooklyn. After turning vegan, he applied his 30 years of culinary experience to creating vegan dishes that would satisfy any palate. Today David is the culinary force behind <A HREF="http://martysvburger.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Marty’s V Burger</A>, does food service consulting, and has been involved with the roll-out of Beyond Meat. 
 Barbara Sitomer Barbara is the chief baker, dish washer, and recipe creator at <A HREF="https://www.gonepie.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gone Pie Vegan Bakery.</A> A long time vegan and baker, Barbara is passionate about food and eating compassionately. 
 
Try them all and vote on your favorite in the People's Choice award for Best Vegan Cheesecake in NYC.
