Vector 2017: :Directions in Game Development

EKU Gaming Institute

Vector is a game conference held at Eastern Kentucky University in collaboration with the EKU Gaming Institute, IdeaFestival, the Richmond office of the Kentucky Innovation Network, and TechBase10.  In its second year, Vector is a celebration of developers from the midwest and southeast United States, and allowing them a chance to network with leaders and peers ​in the field of game design and development.
This year will feature a 2-Day format, with the first day focused on education and day two featuring more professional development for regional game developers. 
Concert  
Friday April 21, 2017 at 7PM at the Perkins Building we are offering a concert to all ticket-holders. This concert will feature the musical talents of Daniel "C418" Rosenfeld (Minecraft) and Matthew "2 Mello" Hopkins (ROM 2064, Cerebrawl). This concert will be a networking event and gaming party for all conference attendees. 
$500 Pitch Contest 
In a partnership with Black Shell Media, we are offering a $500 Pitch Contest for developers on Friday, April 21st at 3PM. The winner of the competition will recieve $500 and a chance to pitch their game idea to publisher Black Shell Media. 
Unity Certification Test 
This year we are pleased to include the Unity Certification Test, offered on Friday, April 21, 2017. The time of the test is TBT. You must buy the Unity Certification ticket to get the test at both the discounted price and to take the test as proctored at Vector.
