VDay 2017 

The Bergen County Peace Alliance is a collection of extraordinary male & female volunteers, comprised of students, artists, actors, poets, dancers and activists devoted to exploring, discussing, exposing, supporting and promoting issues and ideas that effect people in our local community and around the world.  Our aim is raise awareness, support and to effect change!We have raised money for several local women's organization (Shelter Our Sisters,healingSPACE and Women's Rights Information Center)and have shared both published and original material through public fundraiser performances at the bergenPAC and the Dwight-Englewood School in Bergen County, NJ.V-Day is a global movement of grassroots activists dedicated to generating broader attention and funds to stop violence against women and girls, including rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation (FGM) and sex slavery.
