About this event

In March, the members of the University of the Arts/Pig Iron School Class of 2025 traveled to Alaska for an investigative theatre project. There they encountered the expansiveness and precarity of the land, the water, the ice, and the people who call Alaska home. They met artists, scientists, historians, writers, scholars, government officials, and indigenous elders while visiting glaciers, water sheds, fjords, and fishing boat slips.

From this full Northern Exposure, a new work emerges. The 12th cohort will present Vanishing Acts as well as an assortment of other devised projects that represent the culmination of their first year. A reception will follow.
