The Vandelay team of professional location sound mixers is pleased to announce an intensive 1-week audio boot camp for our second straight year. Here, you'll discover the technicalities, the art, and the tricks behind creating compelling soundscapes and recording dialog in both easy and challenging conditions. The main goal of this boot camp is to get a base level of understanding and also to determine if location sound is a career path you want to take. While we will boost your skill set, please understand that this is not designed to take you from Zero to 100 in just a few days. We will lay the foundation for you, but it is up to YOU to get the hours in the captain's chair after this boot camp in order to become a successful audio professional.
Taking place from June 17-21, 9:30am to 4:30pm daily, this immersive experience promises to expand your understanding of location sound from the basic concepts to advanced techniques. By dedicating our team to your for a week, this is not just another classroom course; expect a blend of comprehensive theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience under the expert guidance of our seasoned professionals.
