John Mihaljevic, CFA is a Managing Editor of The Manual of Ideas and a Managing Director of ValueConferences. He has also served as Managing Partner of investment firm Mihaljevic Capital Management LLC since 2005. He is a member of Value Investors Club, an exclusive community of top money managers, and has won the Club's prize for best investment idea. John is a trained capital allocator, having studied under Yale University Chief Investment Officer David Swensen and served as Research Assistant to Nobel Laureate James Tobin. John holds a BA in Economics, summa cum laude, from Yale and is a CFA charterholder. He resides in Zurich, Switzerland.

At VALUEx Munich, entrepreneurs with a value investing mindset come together to share their unique insights.
The carefully selected group of twenty includes capital allocators and business builders, with complementary expertise and a shared value-oriented philosophy of business and life.
VALUEx Munich, held from September 19-21, 2016, is a three-day event, with participants having the flexibility to arrive and depart as is most convenient on Monday and Wednesday, respectively. Tuesday is the main event day, with everyone participating in the main session at Wellenburg Castle as well as dinner at Oktoberfest.
Monday, September 19, 2016: Participants arrive in Munich. Informal networking opportunities throughout the day: discussion and idea sharing over lunch/coffee, walking tour of downtown Munich, group dinner. All twenty participants in Munich by the late afternoon.
Tuesday, September 20, 2016: Group departure to Wellenburg Castle in the morning. Short tour of "Fuggertown". Lunch at the castle, followed by formal sessions on investing, business, and entrepreneurship (each participant is expected to contribute; John Mihaljevic will moderate). Group return to Munich in the late afternoon. 6pm meetup at Oktoberfest.
Wednesday, September 21, 2016: Weisswurst brunch and additional informal events planned for participants who are spending the day in Munich. Participants may depart at any time during the day.
