We are so excited to welcome actress, television personality, and cook Valerie Bertinelli into the store on Sunday, May 5th at 11am! She will be signing copies of her new cookbook, Indulge: Delicious and Decadent Dishes to Enjoy and Share.

In order to attend the event, you must purchase your copy of Indulge from the B&N Philadelphia and register for a ticket through Eventbrite. You may reserve a copy through BN.com. If you purchase your copy before the day of the event, you must bring your receipt with you. Copies will also be available for purchase on the day of the event.

Can I bring in my book from home to get signed?

Valerie will only be signing the copy of her new cookbook Indulge that you purchased through Barnes & Noble Philadelphia for the day of the event.

What if I pre-ordered my copy of Indulge through Barnes & Noble? Do I still need to purchase a copy

Yes, you will need to purchase an additional copy.

What if I bought the book at another retailer?

We will be checking for receipts for proof of purchase. We will not be accepting receipts from Target, Amazon, or Walmart. If you did not purchase the book through Barnes & Noble, then you will be directed to purchase a copy from our location.

Will the book be personalized?

Valerie will not be personalizing the book. She will only be signing the book.

Will Valerie be taking pictures?

Yes, when it is your turn to meet with Valerie you will hand over your phone or camera to the bookseller at the front of the line. This bookseller will be taking the photo for you.

What time does check-in start?

Check-in begins at 10:00am on Sunday, May 5th. You will check-in at the front of store with a bookseller who will verify your ticket. They will then direct you to purchase a copy of Indulge available at the register.

What if you arrive after the signing starts?

You must be in line by 11:30am to guarantee you a chance to meet Valerie.

What if I can no longer attend the event?

Please follow the steps through eventbrite to refund your ticket. We will then offer it to the next person on our waitlist.
