About the Monks
Embarking on the transformative journey of the Phukhang USA Tour 2023-2024 are four revered monks, each embodying a profound dedication to spiritual enlightenment.
Venerable Geshe Lharampa Kunchok Tashi Bhutia, Ritual Master, born in India in 1961, embarked on his spiritual path at nine, dedicating fourteen years to Buddhist philosophy under esteemed mentors like His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Accompanying him is Venerable Geshe Lharampa Tsering Dawa, Translator, whose journey from India to attaining the highest Geshe degree exemplifies a commitment to knowledge and spiritual enlightenment.
Joining them is Venerable Jampa Tsultrim, Chanting Master, whose spiritual journey from Tibet to South India culminated in fifteen years of devoted study and mastery over Buddhist chants.
Lastly, Venerable Jampa Tsultrim, Torma Master, born in Tibet in 1985, brings forth artistic expression and spiritual devotion, sculpting intricate butter sculptures that symbolize the essence of Buddhist teachings.
Together, these revered monks guide seekers on a transformative journey of self-discovery and inner awakening, illuminating the path to spiritual enlightenment.
