<P CLASS="MsoNormal">Join us for a day of storytelling and history as we guide you on a neighborhood walking tour of vacant homes in the Riverbend/Jefferson Chalmers area of Detroit’s lower eastside. Learn about the neighborhood and the people that once lived there, while engaging with the people that do. Guided tours will depart at 11:00am, 12:30pm and 2:00pm.</P>
<P CLASS="MsoNormal">In coordination with the “Vacant Not Blighted Tour” Brick+Beam is hoping to turn your home buying or renovating inspiration into reality. Drop into the Finance Fair to visit tables, ask questions and hear presentations by lenders and organizations that can connect you to programs and products tailored to the needs in the D. Presentations will take place every half hour, with the Detroit Land Bank Authority (12pm); Michigan State Housing Development Authority (12:30pm); Chemical Bank (1pm) and Jefferson East Inc. (1:30pm).</P>
<P CLASS="MsoNormal">Please be sure to register for the tour with the time slot you're interested in as well as the resource fair if you plan on attending both, to help us gauge the number of participants. Thank you!</P>
