Kevin Liang

Founder of Zero to UX, Kevin Liang is on a mission to make UX research more accessible, engaging, and fun. With 14+ years of experience at Google, Uber, Volkswagen, and more, he has launched 80+ products, influenced CEOs, and earned patents for his research innovations.

At UXCON25, Kevin embodies career evolution and leadership in UX, showing how curiosity, adaptability, and mentorship drive success. His keynote will inspire you to push boundaries, rethink research, and make UX more impactful—while having fun along the way.

Calvin Robertson

With over 20 years of experience in UX, design, and leadership, Calvin Robertson has built a career centered on creating intuitive, user-driven experiences. Having worked with major brands like Hallmark, Walmart, and Best Buy, he understands the delicate balance between user needs and business goals, ensuring that products are not only functional but also impactful.

Calvin’s journey is a testament to continuous growth and reinvention—from designer to developer to executive leader. His passion for human-centered innovation now extends into gaming as the founder of Jubileague, where he explores new frontiers in kinetic play, making gaming more interactive and inclusive.

At UXCON25, Calvin brings a wealth of experience to the conversation on career evolution, leadership, and adaptability in UX. Through his Overflowing Leadership Series, he empowers aspiring professionals to take charge of their paths, build strong teams, and create with confidence. Kyle Bodt

I have more than 15 years of design and change management experience, focusing on bespoke product and experience design, innovation, and behavioral research.​ I've served in various leadership roles at management consulting organizations and as adjunct faculty in design and innovation graduate programs.


I'm currently a leader in KPMG's Customer Advisory Practice. I apply a human-centric design perspective to help clients intentionally architect the desired customer experiences for their organizations while bringing visions to life through actionable product and innovation techniques that facilitate experience adoption.


Throughout my career, my passion for the science of creativity and its practical applications in modern business challenges has driven my perspective and problem-solving approach.


I'm an active ally co-lead of KPMG's Network of Women Baltimore Chapter, a Baltimore Women's Advisory Board executive member, and a recipient of the 2022 KPMG Award of Distinction.

Jen Blatz

Jen Blatz is a Principal UX Researcher at BECU (Boeing Employee Credit Union), one of the largest credit unions in the United States. Jen's path to UX started in journalism and graphic design, to progress to UX design and finally landing in UX research and strategy. She has worked in a number of fields including finance, mortgage, cloud storage, security and pet health. Jen loves being active in the UX community, and is the co-founder of the UX Research and Strategy group, one of the largest UX groups in the world. Jen is a seasoned conference speaker who has spoken at several UX international conferences. Jen spends her free time interviewing UX pros and creating videos for her YouTube channel called BlatzChatz.

Lina Reynolds

With over 9 years in UX, following my arrival from Colombia to the U.S. a decade ago, my passion lies in creating impactful experiences for users and empowering the teams behind them. For the past 4 years, I have honed these skills at Ford Credit, and previously at Ferguson. I leverage data analysis to deeply understand user and business needs, driving me to challenge assumptions and implement innovative, cost-effective solutions. I have a strong belief in collaboration, champion user advocacy, and effective cross-team communication of insights. My data-informed approach guides strategic decisions, and I am adaptable across various tools, always ensuring our collective efforts in product development deliver meaningful outcomes.

Nitin Sampathi

Formerly in health tech, where he built tools to help doctors connect more easily with their patients. Now at Google Shopping, focused on helping users find the right products with ease and confidence.

Edward Cupps

Edward Cupps is a UX leader, designer, and educator with a strong background in product design and user experience over 25 years of work. Currently serving as a Senior Director of Product Design at Mural, he previously held leadership roles at Workiva, where he developed UX strategies, acted as a UX principal on numerous consequential projects, and managed design teams.

An advocate for design education, Edward teaches graduate courses at Iowa State University, focusing on interaction design and UX methodologies. He has spoken at Design at Scale, AHFE, and multiple events in his former home state of Iowa, before moving to Maryland in 2022.

With a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and certifications in UX management, Edward is a sought-after speaker and organizer at events like World Information Architecture Day and the Design at Scale Conference. His work bridges innovation in design with a commitment to growing the UX community.

Dan Talib Flounders

Dan Talib Latif Flounders (he/him) graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Design & Printmaking. Flounders is currently working at Vaulted Oak as a Sr. Visual Designer and Design Director at Wide Angle Youth Media. He has worked for Bolster, Wrkhrs, CJM & Co, and Polygraph over the past six years. Flounders has spoken at MICA, John Hopkins, Philadelphia University, and Notre Dame of Maryland University. Flounders has worked for a large array of client projects from branding, exhibition design, UXUI, and product design work over the years.

Jeremy Miller

Jeremy Miller is the dynamic voice behind the popular “Beyond UX Design” podcast, where he champions the idea that soft skills make a truly effective UX professional. With a design career that began in the early 2000s and a shift to UX in 2011, Jeremy has delivered real results at both large corporations and startups while mentoring countless designers throughout the years. In 2024, he co-founded Edge Kase Design Co., a consultancy focused on helping organizations bring their ideas to life. Central to Jeremy’s approach is the conviction that you can’t build great software without great relationships, a belief he eagerly shares with anyone willing to listen.

Beth A. Martin

Beth A. Martin is a civil servant with over 20 years of practice in user experience, communications, digital transformation, and innovation; currently, she is a Digital Services Expert (UX Designer) working in the US federal government. Beth is also an adjunct professor in UX Design.

Andy Vitale

Andy Vitale has a track record of fostering design excellence and shaping teams into organizational powerhouses that develop design into a competitive advantage. Most recently, Andy served as Chief Design Officer at Constant Contact, where he led the design organization of the digital marketing and automation platform. He was previously the EVP, Design at Rocket Companies, the nation’s premier mortgage lender; and GVP, Head of Design at Truist, one of the largest banks in the U.S.


Renowned for his authentic and inspiring talks on design leadership, design maturity, and responsible design, Andy has spoken at over 100 global events, including SXSW, Adobe MAX, and the AIGA Conference. He holds a Master’s Degree in User Experience Design from Kent State University. Andy is a Founding Member of the Design Executive Council and an advisory board member for Kent State University and University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Wendy Zajack

With more than 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing, media relations and internal communications, Dr. Wendy Zajack thrives on working to make complex topics easy to understand, exciting and relevant to broad audiences. She spent her corporate career working for large, global organizations building messaging for multiple audiences and using a variety of marketing channels. She now spends her time thinking about intersection of education, communications and technology and how to thoughtfully deliver tailored, personalized and impactful curriculum to adult learners.

She joined Georgetown in 2016 as a faculty director and professor for a master’s level Integrated Marketing Communications program in the School of Continuing Studies. In 2017 she also became the faculty director for a visually oriented master’s program called Design Management Communications (DMC) program. Now she brings her extensive experience into the classroom and helps her students explores new and innovative ways to market and communicate in an increasingly crowded business environment.

She is an active blogger and enjoys speaking at industry conferences and universities about the power of branding and communications, personal branding, salary negotiation, business marketing trends, importance of ethics, online education, education technology as well as educating millennials and GenZs.

Wendy holds a B.S in Public Relations from the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University and a Masters in Business Administration from the New York University Stern School of Business. She holds a PhD in Education from George Mason University focusing on online collaborative learning.

Crystal Shamblee

Crystal is a Senior Associate at FedTech where over the last two years I've managed an array of client projects, ranging from DoD to non-DoD. She's able to leverage her experiences and expertise from her previous 15 year career in academia, overseeing programs in both UX Design and Human-Centered Design to better serve our client needs. She considers myself a creative thinker, one who enjoys navigating challenges through collaboration and a hard worker in all circumstances.
