Welcome to the UVI-NSF GRANTED PROGRAM MEETING!

The UVI-NSF GRANTED PROGRAM MEETING aims to allow partners and special guests to exchange perspectives and gain insight from the grant activities. The objective is to consolidate, integrate, and finalize solutions and models for addressing the Resilient Research Infrastructure at ERIs.

Hotel:

Event Dates: July 24, 2024 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and July 25, 2024 (9 a.m. to Noon)

Travel Dates: July 23, 2025 and July 26, 2024

Hotel and Meeting Venue: The Lorien Hotel, Alexandria, Virginia

The UVI-NSF GRANTED PROGRAM MEETING will be 1.5 days on Wednesday, July 24, and Thursday, July 25, 2024. However, you should plan to arrive Tuesday, July 23, 2024 (afternoon/evening) and depart Friday (morning), July 26, 2024.

We have budgeted for two staff members from each partner university to attend.

Hotel: We have reserved a block of rooms for this event at the Government Rate: The Lorien Hotel Booking Link. The room block dates correlate with the travel dates (Check in July 23, Check out July 26).

Travel: You should begin booking flight accommodation for both staff members. The closest airport to the hotel/venue is Reagan National Airport (DCA). Per federal grant requirements, you must choose the most economical flights. We recommend using the GSA City Pairs to estimate your round-trip flight. City Pair Program (CPP) | GSA

Travel Reimbursement: HIP will send a travel reimbursement form before the event so you can record your expenses (hotel, flight, mileage, per diem, and incidentals). The estimated incidentals (i.e., ground transportation and baggage) is $150 total. We will provide additional instructions as we get closer to the event.
