Overview

Join us on April 19 to discover how you can help make the world a better place as a UVA Engineer!

At our annual Open House, you’ll talk to our amazing students, engage with world-renowned faculty, meet our trailblazing Dean, get an inside look at undergraduate research projects, and experience our vibrant, collaborative culture first-hand. You’ll learn how a UVA Engineering education is one of the best choices you can make to prepare for an exciting, meaningful career as an engineering leader.

Dean Jennifer L. West's welcome talk will take place at 11 a.m. at Old Cabell Hall on UVA’s Lawn, a 10-minute walk from the E3 parking lots (for more information about parking, see the notes below). There is limited seating capacity for the talk, so we recommend arriving early to allow time to reach Old Cabell Hall and ensure seating is available.

For those unable to make the talk, Dean West will be available throughout the day at various Open House events.

A digital version of our event guide and schedule is available on our website, along with more information for attendees.

Class of 2030: Incoming members of the UVA Engineering Class of 2030 are invited to visit us in Thornton Hall A Wing to pick up a special gift!
