Ramsay Chu is the Global Head of Strategic Sourcing for Peloton Interactive where he is supported by a team of people based across the world. He is an energetic leader with many years of experience in developing and implementing best-in-class supply chain solutions. Ramsay comes to Peloton with extensive experience in transforming large-scale global companies such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Rio Tinto, Fiserv, Visa, and Intel.


Since joining Peloton Interactive in 2021, Ramsay has played an instrumental role in pivoting the company strategy to embrace a leaner and agile supply chain. His team is responsible for all third-party relationships (Direct and Indirect Materials) involved in supporting the growth of the hardware and content platforms that make Peloton Interactive the preeminent Fitness as a Service company (FaaS). He leads a diverse and empowered team of rock-star supply chain and sourcing professionals at Peloton sites throughout the world.


Before joining Peloton, Ramsay was instrumental in inspiring and driving change within HPE. He implemented category-sourcing strategies and established strategic supply agreements with key partners across the high-tech supply chain. In addition, Ramsay was responsible for all outsourced partnership arrangements for manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and support services for global customer delivery.


Prior to his appointment at HPE, Ramsay was the Global Head of Procurement for Rio Tinto and transformed the supply chain to enable the Mine of the Future initiative across 44 mine sites and 80 offices on six continents. In addition, he pioneered the establishment of a Global Business Services function and the role of Chief Commercial Officer for the group. Before Rio Tinto, Ramsay was the Senior Vice President of Strategic Sourcing at Fiserv where his responsibilities included Procurement, Real Estate, Shared Services, and Corporate Facilities supporting over 250 locations worldwide. At Visa International, Ramsay was Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions, leading a transformation of the shared services function ahead of the public offering for Visa, Inc. His post-graduate career started at Intel where he held various management roles of increasing responsibility across Legal, Operations, and Supply Chain for over nine years.


Ramsay received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arizona, an MBA from the University of Arizona, and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. He is currently based in Salt Lake City, UT, USA.
