Come join us for our first shoreline cleanup of the year! This is a great opportunity for community members around the lake to come together and help take care of this precious natural resource. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Because the weather in May can be temperamental, please dress accordingly. We will send out an email the day before the event if anything changes.
Before spreading out to pick up trash, we will meet shortly to give some instructions and hear a presentation about the lake from ecology professor, Dr. Ben Abbott. He will talk about the history of the lake and share why the lake is so ecologically important. We hope you can join!
