People Incorporated is a Twin Cities-based nonprofit providing a spectrum of interrelated services to help people with mental illness live as independently as possible in the community. We’ve been responding to the great need in our community for innovative, effective mental health services since 1969, and now operate over 50 programsin the greater metro area.Our Training Institute is a hub for mental health learning in the Twin Cities and beyond. Training courses are open to healthcare professionals, public safety officials, company leadership teams, community organizations, and the general public. Attend live in person or via interactive online stream from your computer.

This class is offered live, either in person or online via an interactive stream from your computer. 
Our interactive stream will allow you to remotely take part in the real-time presentation and discussion. If you opt to join us online through our interactive stream, we will send you an email invite link afer you register with further instructions. Reliable internet connection and a computer with a microphone is required.

Class Description
This class explores skills from the four pillars of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as developed by Marsha Linehan with an explanation and rationale for use. Participants learn the nature of DBT skills through experiential practice and case studies and are then better able to support people who are doing this kind of therapy.

Can I get CEUs for this class?
Yes, People Incorporated is an accredited provider of CEUs with the MN Board of Social Work.
