Using Creative Expression to Empower Elementary Aged Kids

For over twenty years, Art with Heart has been spreading the healing power of creative expression to kids experiencing trauma or adversity. Our therapeutic activity books for youth, and resources for the adults who serve them transform pain into possibility for young people around the world. Now in our third decade, we’ll reach 3.5 million more kids through our innovative online learning community and through collaboration with many personal, unique partnerships.

Art with Heart

This 1-hour webinar will introduce you to Art with Heart’s (AwH) <A HREF="http://shop.artwithheart.org" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">curriculum and therapeutic activity books</A> developed for elementary-aged kids, including <A HREF="https://shop.artwithheart.org/collections/therapeutic-books-for-kids/products/magnificent-marvelous-me" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Magnificent Marvelous Me! (MMMe)</A> and <A HREF="https://shop.artwithheart.org/collections/therapeutic-books-for-kids/products/draw-it-out" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Draw It Out (DIO)</A>. You will learn how creative expression helps kids name and process their emotions, develop strategies for coping, and build resilience. You will also learn how to respond to their art in a way that builds connections with them and their emotions. One hands-on art activity will provide an opportunity to experience creative expression for yourself, and you’ll be ready to use it with kids right away.
