About this event

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) offers competitively awarded grants to qualified small businesses to support high quality research related to important scientific problems and opportunities in agriculture that could lead to significant public benefits and stimulate technological innovations in the private sector. Over $40M is awarded annually by USDA via their SBIR and STTR programs. This session will discuss the research areas they fund, how much they fund, what award sizes are, commercialization expectations, how to research USDA SBIR grant opportunities and tips for submitting a successful application.
