About this event

Welcome to the USCCA Women's Handgun, Concealed Carry & Self Defense Fundamentals event! Join us at the APHF Shooting Center for a day of empowering education and training.

Guns, holsters, and concealed carry leggings aren’t a “one size fits all,” so why would self-defense instruction be any different? The purpose of this training is to provide a distinctly feminine approach to personal defense, which will help you build confidence in your abilities as a gun owner.

We want to empower you with the confidence, knowledge, skills, and abilities required to use a handgun safely and proficiently. We encourage you to get out of your comfort zone, adopt the right mindset for personal protection, and train and practice regularly.

Whether you're a seasoned shooter or new to firearms, this event is designed to help you build confidence, develop skills, and enhance your personal safety. Our expert instructors will cover everything from the basics of handgun safety, defensive use, the 7 fundamentals of marksmanship, and the gun laws in the state of Florida. In this class you will show proficiency in loading, unloading and firing a gun, safely and accurately. Don't miss this opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded women. See you there!

This class is lively, interactive, and very detailed. Ladies who complete and pass this course will receive a USCCA Certificate of Completion which can be used to apply for your CCW, should you want one.

Begin your journey now by discovering your “why” when it comes to personal defense and firearms training. Class size is limited to 12 ladies. You will shoot approximately 25 rounds. Please bring at least 50 rounds as we might shoot more.
