WHO: Energy Superhero, Nicole Kelner
Join USA Girl Scouts Overseas and STEM Superhero, Nicole Kelner for a session on how to use watercolors to paint a world powered by energy!
This STEMinist season we have been learning about all types of energy, from wind, solar, nuclear, green buildings and more. Kelner will lead us in using watercolors to help visualize the world we want to live in! Come paint with us and see the connection between Art and Science!
Nicole Kelner is the founder of Arts and Climate Change, an organization that uses art as a tool for climate communication. She creates educational content for all ages and just published a coloring book called Electrify Everything: The Clean Energy Coloring Book!

WHAT: Paint Your World!
Nicole will teach us how to use art as a tool to simplify topics in energy and climate change as she guides Girl Scouts in creating their own watercolor paintings.

This event is open to all program grade levels (Girl Scout Daisies through Ambassadors) and adult volunteers.
This program is open to both STEMinist Program Pass holders and those who are not currently registered with our STEMinist program. Come get a taste and see what STEMinist is all about in this session focused on art and science!

This session is free! Designed to give you a taste of our STEMinist series, we are excited to offer this program at no cost. We hope you have so much fun, you sign up for next year's STEMinist series, launching in September 2024.
