    Bravo! Space mission boarding is now ready!! The Euro Space Center is expecting the Girl Scout crew on the launch pad for an out of this world overnight, 9-10 November! Girl Scouts will earn their Space Science Badge and a fun patch.


    Together with our Girl Scouts from around the world, enjoy two days of unlimited access to the indoor and outdoor park and earn your first astronaut stripes! Your Orion Mission includes:

    • Two days of unlimited access to the Euro Space Center with activities led by Girl Scout volunteers and Euro Space Center staff
    • Overnight stay in a space room
    • Hands-on powder rocket activity
    • Movie night in the large auditorium
    • Euro Space Center T-shirt
    • Full board at the Voyager Café (from Saturday lunch through Sunday lunch)
    • Girl Scout STEM fun patch
    • And much more space fun!

    What is included in the cost?

    All activities, lodging, and meals from Saturday lunch through Sunday lunch, in addition to a fun patch! By registering for this overnight, Girl Scouts will also receive complimentary enrollment in our 2024-2025 STEMinist series (a $30 value), featuring monthly, hands-on, virtual STEM sessions!

    Will my Girl Scouts earn any badges?

    Yes! Girl Scouts will earn their Space Science badge! The badge is not included in the cost of the event.

    Who can attend this overnight?

    Girl Scout Juniors and up (4th-12th graders) can attend! Girls must be registered members of USA Girl Scouts Overseas. If you're not a registered member and want to attend, please reach out to overseascustomercare@girlscouts.org for assistance.

    Can I attend with my Girl Scout?

    No! This is a drop-off/Girl Scout only overnight. Parents, tag-a-longs, etc. are not able to stay at the center. Your family is welcome to purchase tickets to explore the museum after pick-up on Sunday, November 10th.

    Who will be supervising and instructing the Girl Scouts?

    In addition to the Euro Space Center staff, Girl Scouts will be supervised by registered and background checked USAGSO volunteers with a background/interest in all things STEM, including the famous STEMinist herself, Erin Twamley!

    What kind of activities will the Girl Scouts be doing?

    Girl Scouts will have unlimited access to the museum, including the 5D space show, planetarium, cosmic valley, mars village, and more! Check out the Euro Space Center's website for additional details: https://www.eurospacecenter.be/en/. Girl Scouts will also make powder rockets and watch a movie!

    What does my Girl Scout need to pack for their space mission?

    Girl Scouts should bring their own sleeping bag/linens and pillow, personal belongings, toiletries, etc. A full packing list will be sent to all registrants 3-4 weeks before the overnight.
