Managing Weeds, Pests, and Diseases - Session 3 of 4

On May 2nd, we'll explore what's bugging in the garden. Now that you've planted, this workshop will teach you how to keep the garden going. We'll talk about the importance of healthy soil to healthy plants, how to encourage natural predators in the garden (and what they are), and ways to manage weeds and diseases without poisoning you, your family, or the water and soil.

Folks looking to grow their own food in containers, yards or raised beds and almost anywhere will find this progressive workshop series perfect to learn, ask questions, and get ready to grow.

Experienced instructors who are passionate about sustainable agriculture will share their knowledge and spread the joys of healthy meals from garden to table. You'll find out how easy it is to grow in all sorts of spaces. Soon, you'll be growing what you eat!

Let's Grow Food! Join us at the Hope Center (old Coca-Cola Building), 925 Pine Avenue in Albany on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 5:00 PM. See you there!
