The Washington Youth Garden, founded in 1971, nurtures curious minds and healthy bodies by connecting youth to food, the land and each other.  The Washington Youth Garden is a program ofFriends of the National Arboretumwith support from theU.S. National Arboretum.

Join Washington Youth Garden for our final workshop of our winter workshop series, 'Urban Composting' lead by Compost Cab. Come out to the demonstration garden to learn about indoor and outdoor home composting. Leave the Urban Composting workshop with the knowledge to make your own soil for your garden. We hope to see you out there. 
*This workshop is family friendly. We recommened wering cloathing that can get dirty. Compost can get messy!
