The Minnesota Marine Art Museum and Liatris Records proudly present an album release event for Perihelion Day by upup/OVER on Sunday, May 19 at 7pm. Join us for a night of instrumental improvisation by upup/OVER and Liz Draper in the exquisite gallery space of the MMAM for a show that will never be performed the same way again.


upup/OVER is a musical alter-ego of Mike Munson (Winona, MN) featuring acoustic, instrumental guitar with an interstellar focus. Perihelion Day is the first release by upup/OVER on the Liatris Records label.


Liz Draper is a 2021 American Composers Forum awardee for her solo work which can be described as "classicaldoomfolkjazz."


This album release event will provide an intimate experience of the confluence of visual art and improvised music in an incomparable gallery setting.
