Upcycled Fashion Workshop

Join us for a fun and creative afternoon of upcycling! We will be hosting a fashion workshop where you can learn how to turn old clothes into new and trendy pieces. Bring your own clothes to transform or use some of the materials we will provide. We welcome you to bring your own sewing machine and have some machines onsite.

This in-person event will take place on Second Saturday (subject to change) of every month at the Innovation Barn, 932 Seigle Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28205. The workshop will start at 1:00 PM (EDT) and lasts for about three hours.

No prior experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome. Our instructors will guide you through the process and provide tips and tricks to make your creations unique.

May I bring my own clothes?

Yes absolutely! If you have an item that you've always wanted to re-work, come on and bring it along.

What if I've never sewn before?

We welcome people of all levels. If you are unable to finish your design the day of workshop, you can take the pattern home or come back to visit us on a different day.

Are kids allowed to attend?

Children ages 8 and up may participate with signed parental consent form (onsite).

What if I get hungry?

You may purchase beverages and treats at Change Please, a social purpose coffee shop--located onsite.
