Upcycle Parts Shop is the leader in sustainable art and craft supplies in Cleveland.We are a non-profit dedicated to provoking creativity and promoting community through reuse.We operate a unique storefront where people can donate used art + craft supplies, as well as shop for the same items at a very low cost. We serve thousands of participants each year by supplying materials to creative endeavors through this retail shop, leading engaging programming, and building community in Cleveland's St. Clair community that we call home.We shine a light on the potential of everything around us. To us, upcycling and “creative reuse” is about believing in the value of materials already in our hands and homes, and the joy of sparking thoughtful creativity within our community and the self.Together, we have diverted over 27 tons of waste from the landfill since opening in 2014 and we are grateful to our community of donors and patrons for helping us createless waste & more art!

Upcycle Parts Shop

Hey, creative kiddos! Join us on December 14 to experience our shiniest materials buffet yet! In this edition of Upcycle Mini Makers, we’re diving into our collection of sparkly, festive pieces and parts in order to upcycle some holiday-worthy creations. 
At our Mini Makers workshops, it’s all about dreaming, scheming, and creating something that only YOU can make. You’ll dive into our gigantic buffet of materials and use that creative brain of yours to upcycle whatever your little heart desires! Maybe you’ll choose to upcycle a festive ornament. Perhaps you’ll create an extravagant hat to wear on New Years Eve. Maybe you’ll make a few handmade gifts for family and friends.  
Whatever holiday objects your family needs this season, you can create it. Got an idea? Great! We’ve got the materials and tools to make it come to life. Need inspiration? We’ve got that too, along with examples of a variety of festive creations you and your grownup can make together. Plus eggnog and cookies.

Each adult may bring up to three children and should purchase the corresponding ticket type. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop. Recommended for ages 3 and up. 
*Please note that our upstairs workshop space is accessible via stairs only.

This is my first time hearing about Upcycle Parts Shop. What's the deal?
We are a non-profit creative reuse center located in the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood of Cleveland. In our retail storefront we sell low-cost craft supplies and upcycleable treasures, all generously donated to us by individuals and corporations in our community. Since opening in 2014, we have diverted over 27 tons of usable material from the landfill! Whether or not you can make our workshop, we'd love to see you in our shop during our weekly retail hours. We are open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays from 2-6 PM and Saturdays from 10-4 PM. What can I expect when I arrive?
Come through our shop door located under the blue awning. We'll then head upstairs to our workshop space. There will also be time to visit our shop if you'd like to purchase any creative materials and upcycle parts. You'll receive 10% off any in-shop purchases as a thank you for attending!
What refreshments can I expect?
We will have egg nog and cookies for the kiddos. Please feel free to bring your own snacks, too! We have plates, utensils, and glasses so no need to bring those.
Where should I park?
There is street parking available in front of our shop on St. Clair Avenue as well as on Addison. You may also park in the Slovenian National Home parking lot behind the building which is accessible from Addison or E. 64th.
