UP Academy in Bloom Benefit Fundraiser

Please join us, and invite your family and friends to mix and mingle with the UP Academy community. There will be food, music, fun stations for adults, activities for (chaperoned!) children, a raffle, and a silent auction.

We started UP Academy with one idea in mind: Create a school that focuses on the needs of students and support them to reach their ultimate potential.

My late daughter Eliza was the inspiration for the school. We wanted to create a place where students with and without disabilities could work together, learn and thrive. Today we are proud to say that we have created a methodology of education that supports a wide variety of learning profiles, holds high expectations for all, and challenges everyone to do their best.

Multi-disciplinary project based learning, multi-sensory instruction, social emotional awareness and growth, a community framework, and STEAM are not just buzzwords at UP Academy. They are our student environment every day. We teach the way humans learn best.

UP Academy is a non-profit, independent elementary (TK-5th grade) school in San Mateo built on a foundation of social-emotional and project-based learning. UP Academy provides individually tailored curricula to each student and includes opportunities to learn Mandarin as well as programs in Art, Music, Yoga, Gardening, Drama and Technology. With an academic emphasis on STEAM, UP is home to the peninsula's premier, award-winning elementary competitive robotics team. To support these amazing educational experiences and programs for local children, we are hosting our spring fundraiser with a charity auction. These funds will be essential to keep building and growing a place where curiosity thrives!
